James Ashdown’s passion for lighting began at an early age. In 1997 he established Automated Limited. From a fledgling company dealing with local events it has evolved into a large scale provider of equipment and services now including the broadcast industry. Today the passion continues and Automated prides itself on the personable expertise that it can contribute to any event or production no matter how large or small.

With a warehouse based in Kent we carry stock of all of the necessary equipment to deliver all of our services to any size and scale and our customers can work with us on just a dry hire basis right through to our full package of planning, design and installation services.
