Each modular MUSE element features two custom-designed 250mm (10") woofers with 64mm high excursion voice coils and two custom B&C HF compression drivers with a 25mm (1") throat. The waveguide, optimized using BEM finite element simulations, provides a horizontal dispersion of 90°, ensuring minimal distortion. Designed for optimal load at 800Hz and propagation up to 18kHz, the enclosure excels in challenging environments, offering a linear and symmetric horizontal dispersion.
The Italian-designed cabinet, made from 15mm Birch plywood, combines durability with style. It includes two die-cast aluminum handles and integrated hardware, allowing up to 16 MUSE enclosures to be flown in a single array. Cabinets can be splayed from 0° to 10° in 1° increments via simple pin adjustments. The MUSE system is user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing for any project.
Power is delivered by a convection-cooled, 600 + 300 Wrms Class-D amplifier module within a sealed die-cast aluminum chassis. The onboard DSP provides eight presets for easy configuration based on array curvature and speaker count.
For extended low-frequency performance, the MUSE system pairs with the SUBLine 218SA subwoofer, featuring two 460mm B&C woofers and a 1200W Class-D amplifier. Alternatively, it can be matched with the MITUS 218SA subwoofer, which includes two 460mm neodymium-loaded B&C woofers and a 2000W Class-D amplifier, achieving an SPL of 145dB.
The MUSE system's modularity, combined with EASE FOCUS 2 PC software, ensures precise coverage and allows for customized sound reinforcement solutions.
